Perhaps Oggie can do you/ us a deal on the oil he drains out every 1000 miles!

I'm using mobil 1, changed every 2 years, which equates to about 2 or 3 thousand miles.

lol, i was going to edit that post, but i went to do my belts instead, i was just going to say that i wouldnt change it as often. I've heard stories of mercedes garrages doing just that, one car on the 4 poster, the other underneath and drain from top to bottom.

What a nightmare trying to find a local stockist.
To assist anyone interested in purchasing this oil, here’s what I found so far.

Valvoline Oil Co (Division of Ashland) Ltd
Dock Rd, Birkenhead, Merseyside CH41 1DR
Tel: 0151 652 1551

They will look up and find a stockist local to you

A.R.E, who stock the oil, have been taken over by euro car parts, head office 02089565000.

Hope that helps.

What is the correct procedure for checking oil level, as in how long after you turn off the heated up engine should you wait?
