Some time ago Scott confirmed to me that the Torque wrench settings for the 16v heads is 91-101Nm.
How about the nuts that hold the camshaft in? |

Have you checked it already than?
But, the material and sized of the bolts in the 1.7 8b and the 1.7 16v are all teh same, so the Torque Wrench settings will also the the same for the crank as only the cylinder head is realy different but they both have the same torque wrench setting..
These settings are depending on the metarial of the bolts and the metarial of where the bolts are screwed into (and that is the same for all 33 & sud engines), and not so much on the type of head (8v or 16v) which is used for that engine. |

The only difference I found between the 8V and 16V were head bolts as previously mentioned.
Looking at 16V supplement (sorry hard copy) the settings are 20 - 24Nm _________________ Scott Sander
