Hi All,

Just thought I'd introduce myself, I am Chris from Lingfield in Surrey and I have just rescued a 33 from a miserable end!

The cars a series 2 cloverleaf that's in need of some TLC. It had been owned by one old boy and garaged for 18 years.. The car did have an Alfa FSH and 35K on the clock, believe me 18 months ago it must have been concourse! BUT it has been molested by some young lads who thought it was a great idea to rip out the interior (which they threw in a skip!) and thrash it within a inch of it's life at a track day. Now I must bring it back to life!

About me well...I have owned various Italian cars down the years, Maserati 422, Fiat X19, Fiat Bravo HGT, Alfa GTV V6 (That was the last one)... Always fancied owning a Boxer engined Alfa though as tried to buy one when I was 17 and couldn't insure it! Ended up with a poxy 850cc Mini!

Anyway look forward to interacting with you guys and maybe meeting up at one of the AROC or Auto Italia events.

Cheers All,
Chris Smile

P.S. Anyone know where I can get an interior, and when I say interior I mean everything apart from the dash and front seats! Crying or Very sad

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the forum. Good to see that you've saved the 33 from a fate worse than a fate worse than death!! I'm sure once you get it running well again you wont regret it for a moment. I've had my 33 nearly 6 years now and it still keeps me entertained on the roads........and in the garage Laughing

As for your interior, Paul Hide on here (user name paulhide) might be able to sort you out with something......and he doesn't live a million miles away from you either (about 20 miles according to the AA route planner. Very Happy )

Good luck with it all and maybe we'll meet at one of those events.

Cheers, Lee

Hi Chris, yes I've probably got all that you need, if you didn't get my email. PM me with details and I'll get back to you.

Yep, Spa sounds good.
