i spose i should have posted here first.. oh well.

hi alfa pages people. i used to be a member years ago under the name of alfanutter but i forget my password and email address from back then.

i'm luke and i've had 7 33's over the years. the last 3 were all perm 4's and one s2 1.5ti that i was given for nothing.
recently i've been missing my perm 4 after a mate found a video that we did while on a tour of north wales.

i'm currently living in the southern french alps and i've only got a manky banged up corsa 1.2 to limp around in. i'm on the hunt for a perm 4.

i'm also building my own car to my own design. designing the chassis, suspension and aero all my self. using a suzuki hiyabusa 1.3 motorbike eninge as the power plant. but so far its all just cad drawings and scraps of paper.. untill i get a garage i can use.

lets hope i dont have to wait too long for a 33 to come my way.

Hi Luke... glad you've finally (re)introduced yourself on here! Laughing

How come you're living in the Southern French Alps? Sounds like my kind of place to live! Very Happy

mountains, fresh air, quiet life style and amazing roads.

i originally came here to go snowboarding and after 2 winters here i never went back the UK. been living here since nov '07.

there is very little in the way of money paying jobs out here.. in the winter i work in a hotel kitchen or teach boarding. in the summer i'm a bike tech for a loacl mtb bike rental shop.

spend most of my time in the summer either walking, cycling, working or drinking in the sun. or this year hunting for 33's on my laptop.

Hi Luke, damn, damn, damn blasted shame you just missed getting your old car back. That would've been really good. A guy called Matthew Turner now has the car and he sent me a text saying that the car goes fast like a car should! You had spent a lot on the car, Luke, but I bought the car from a Mr. Eades in Faversham who had let the car run down into a bit of a dog. Since I saw you last, in Haywards Heath, the engine has been replaced with a really good one and I had gone through two viscous couplings and propshafts. It had a fair bit of welding underneath and a replacement windscreen and rear bushes. I gave away loads of spares with the car including spare viscous coupling/mounts, spare gearbox and spare rear axle. The sun roof was leaking and I realise now that I hadn't fixed the rear view mirror back in place properly (it needs to go on front first you idiot, Paul) so it will probably fall off at some point round a fast corner and cause the new owner to have an accident!? The gear linkage was beginning to go again, but the gearbox is still excellent. I hope everything is going well for you and that you find another Permanent 4. Cheers, Paul.

You might have been Alfanutter elsewhere (or Alfa Nutter), but you were LDA here and you sold me an exhaust at a bargain price of 40 quid, thanks, much appreciated.

that was around the time i first came to france.
i also did go into hospital but only for 1 day.

who paid what? i don't live there any more and i don't have any 33 bits anymore but i'll gladly return the money to people.

as for the 33scooby. once the engine and drivetrain were installed i sold the project. i wonder if it is about? i think the guy wanted to use it on a track.

Small world Paul... one of my cars was owned by Stewart Eades too - that was also a dog.

I have pm'd everybody involved to try and resolve this. looks like i messed up with 3 people's parts or money so i'm trying to contact them to return the money as i now have no parts.

i am having trouble getting hold of "prauguste". i've got no pm's from him and no record of what he was requesting. is he still about here or on another forum? his real name is patrick.
