Happy Christmas to everyone and their families!!
33 sitting forlorn on the drive, although I have cleared snow off twice
Roads 'round my way an absolute 'mare as there has been hardly any griiting- good for cars health if you can avoid smashing them up instead.
Walking the dog this morning and some prick came charging up the road in one of those horrible 4wd 4 door pickup trucks driving as if he was invincable. Oh how i laughed when he span it 270 degrees narrowly missing a lampost.

Wish I still had my P4. Have been doing some 4 wheel drifting at 22mph, though. Watched a 156 going neatly up the street here diagonally one way then flicking it round to continue in the same direction diagonally along the road, but facing the pavement this time, then back again - nicely done _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Un similar vehicle in my village scored a direct hit! Yeah you're better off in a 2cv or a Renault 4.
Merry Christmas! |

Yup, Happy Christmas everyone.
My 33 is my everyday (it's that or the mk2 Sprite!) has been doing stirling service although traction is not as good as I might expect for FWD, better than the MX-5 though.
What I hadn't realised until the last few days is that you're allowed to ignore give way junctions if the markings are covered in snow or slush. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Happy Christmas to everyone on here, hope santa brings everyone what they want.
My 155 was totally iced up on wednesday so the 33 sw showed it's face from his garage & put a smile on my face taking me to work, heater gets hot super fast compared to 155, handles better (just) and looks awsome _________________ 155 sportpack

I bought myself an early christmas present too - what's RWD with an OHC 2600cc twin carb 6 cylinder engine and manual transmission ? Alas, while an Alfa Romeo 2600 Berlina fits that description, I bought a Rover SD1.

I still have my 33 and I'm driving that until I'm confident in the Rover, but it is my ongoing plan to try to give the 33 a refresh this time round instead of just changing the timing belts and running it another 60,000km. I convinced myself I needed a second car again. So I bought this mobile change of pace as some summer entertainment, and because relying on two foolish old cars is better than relying on one. |

Cool- there are probably more SD1s left in NZ than the UK. Haven't seen one for ages.
