Real Answer - see the police and you might be able to make some kind of claim on the car and recover it for them.

Other answer - where is it? It won't be there tomorrow if I can figure out how to hotwire it!

Hi

I think you can just try claiming it through the DVLA / Police. I know someone who has got 2 Lancia Thema Turbos this way recently. Unfortunatly they are on hols in France at the moment.

All the best

Do you think they dumped it next to yours because they want someone to look after it (i.e. you) Surprised

Hi,thanks for all the replies!
Found out from dvla today that all I must do is go to the Post Office, fill out form V62 & because there is no registered keeper I should get a log book in about 14 days!!!
Just had a look round it & it's got a special manifold that joins the front 2 cylinders into 1 & the rear 2 cyl into 1 then 2 into 1 then joins onto cat,3 good P6000 tyres & no handbrake cover!!

Don't forget - as we live in the UK that will make you the keeper, not the legal owner. Your name will appear on the DVLA computer and you ill get sent demands for car tax, parking tickets and speeding tickets from the date that you write on the form.

Should the guy with the keys make an appearance, it is still is his car.

Can I have the front exhaust pipe please?
