They are very good but i think the super 4's are a bit better, 33's seem to respond better with multi-electrode plugs. When i next change mine i'll prob go back to super 4's.

Hi

Officially the 16V didn't use golden lodge plugs. Unofficially I think plenty of people have used the plugs from the 75 TS. Not being platinum plugs they won't last as long, but they are a fraction of the price.

All the best

Keith

Im currently using a set of Denso uridium's, was using Ngk Be6es (i Think).
No issue's with them but to me a spark plug is a spark plug I have never really noticed any real performance gains/fuel efficiency improvements.

Hi

The 25HLD isn't listed in the manuals, even if it is the right length, heat range, etc.

Alfa listed in the owners books NGK PFR6B for the catalysed versions and Bosch F7DTC for the non cat versions.

All the best

The bit that goes in the head on the 25 HLD is the same size as that of an 25 HL. As far as I can tell they're identical apart from the HLD requiring a smaller spanner(I think it's 19mm).

Been using NGK B7ES but made in Brazil, NOT Japan.

I heard that I shouldn't touch the Brazilian NGK. Confused

What are the other alternatives easily available for the 8v Series 2?

I heard standard Bosch are not good for the boxers.

Hi,

For 8v I use BOSCH WR78
more than 300 000 kms performed with these and no problem so far. Replace plugs every 20 000 kms.

I see they have the 4 points like the golden lodge.

Might give them a shot if they are not too expensive even though Bosch have a bad rep with the boxers.

I was advised that because the Bosch have resistance built in 'R', they are not so good with the old boxers.

Maybe the 3 point Champion plugs? N6BYC or something.
