Just done head gaskets, water pump and belts.

Anyone know where I can get hold of new rubber bushes for the gearbox end of the linkage (1988/9 cars)

(Both my series two 33s' gearsticks rattle a bit in 3rd or 5th gear and it's not gearstick end)[/b]

You'll have to check it's a series 2 model. The one on my '94 33 is a bit shorter and fatter. That one may well be the right one.

88-89 one is available on ebay and it seams it's the easier to find of the two :

Thanks Bobkelso, I've sent off for two and will measure them for you. They do look very similar to the S3 ones (thanks John and Eagle), but do have a different part number.

yes it seams the 89-90 version
is only a little longer (+3mm)
than version 90-94..
Probably is adaptable.

I have a spare new one for my '94 33. I'll have a look at it. Gritsop kindly got me two from Greece a few years back.

Not sure at the moment when the linkage was modified.

Having compared the two side by side yes if you shave 1.5mm off each end you'd have a series 3 bush.
