Well, after a monstrous amount of welding that needed to be done she has now passwed her MOT, just fitted a new radiator and replaced all the alternator brackets after noticing they had been "modified" to fit a different belt.

This is what we found inside the boot, under the o/s rear window.

This is under the o/s/r wheelarch!!!!!

All sorted now, these guys really know how to weld!

All welding done and new radiator and other bits going on. Very Happy

Looks good Alex.

A couple of questions:

- What is the paint code for the wagon? I have acquired one the same colour but no paint code on it

- What is the rotten panel in the first pic?

- And did your welders make up the sill panels or did you manage to track some down?

Hi Niel, the panel in 1st pic is in the boot on the o/s. behind the carpeted trims, its the one under the fixed window. The welders (Alan & Mark) fabricated everything! Took them 4 weeks. They have even re-fabricated the rear jacking points for me, their work is outstanding. (They also painted Lorraine's red 16v last year which now sits on you're drive). Smile.
The paint code of the burgundy 33's is 146, mine is slightly different though coz when it was re sprayed a few years ago they added a slight tint of purple into it so I have a different code for mine.
