Hi,
I picked up a rebuilt engine a few years ago from EBay along with some other bits. Engine is currently in storage. I have some history somewhere ( moved house since) which I will try to find over w/end. I am pretty sure it was a 1286 but over-bored to next size. Just needs a 1350 crank ??
Any use to you?

As long as it's not an injection shouldn't make much difference. Best to get an engine with the original carbs as camshafts vary according to what carbs are fitted.

Hi
I do have a complete (well, rear was shortened by a lorry) series 3 1.3 carbed 33 sitting on the drive here. This is a hydraulic tappet engine. When it was on the road it had a nice gearbox (with the low ratio diff).
Peter the 'sud guy was going to have it but heard nothing from him in ages.

Hi
I would rather sell the whole car as it is tbh. No time to strip it down and do anything.
Interior is a mess and the ignition system is off it (used to try and get the other 1.3 running - failed there!).

I may be wrong but 1.3s should have 40 Webers or Dellortos I think.

Now that we have a few Sud owners here I think it's important to specify the model.
Is that a Sud or a 33? An S2 33Ti has a 1490cc engine.

Yes, very sorry. This engine came from my very own s2 alfasud. 57k miles. |
