Which way round should the pulleys be Question
I've just put them all on with the lips at the back (so the belts could be pushed on)
I then looked at another engine and found the non-tensioner pulleys have been bolted on with the lips at the front.
Which is right Question

I think lips in.

I had a few pictures in the gallery here from when I last did mine in 2009 but they have vanished and I can't find any pics on the PC to check...

Thanks Eagle, but it's a 16v engine.

I need a manufacturers photo of a 16v engine??

The one photo that I've got probably agrees with John, but I can't be sure. Don't really want to get this wrong.

Nice one Lee, I started having a rummage for my 1993 brochure that has that lovely picture in, to look at the tensioners.

From memory there may be a scan of that pic on Keith's workshop manual CD?
