Morning All

Im after the following if anyone knows where or have them

im trying to make a 1418cc Engine from a 1351 block.

Apprently i can do this with:

84mm pistons from 1599cc Engine
64mm Stroke using Conrods from 1351 engine

has any tried this, do you beleive it will work?

Hi Mate,

No reason to believe putting in bigger pistons wont work, just need the block machined to take em!

Think all 8v con rods are essentially the same (am happy to be corrected on that tho ed), it's the stroke of the crank that varies.

I also believe 1596 cc boxer engine is from an Alfa 145/6 (72mm stroke, 84mm pistons)

A 1.5 (1495) block will probably be easier to find. that has 84mm pistons, 67.2mm stroke.

I'd be very surprised if no-one on here has a 1500 block, or pistons, to offer. Maybe put up a wanted add for those bits specifically?
