Hi guys,

Just dropping in to say Hi!

Back in Lichfield now. Arrived last month. Still looking for work but beginning to make good contacts now. Hope something will come up soon.

Picked up a cheap Skoda Octavia as a family car to get us going. Had to change the belts and needed some work on it but it was cheap and only has 60k on it.

Already beginning to get my hands dirty on it. Purchased a simple diagnostic tool as I had an occurring fault code for a lean condition!!
Just replaced the MAF today and cleared the code. Fingers crossed it is not the Lambda or a hairline crack in one of the vacuum pipes which are a maze!

Anyway enough talk about a Skoda.
My son was asking he wanted me to buy the same black car we had in Uruguay! The 33! Lol
Think he liked the sound of the carbs and raspy sound!

Got a driveway for 2 (possibly 3 squeezed in if I buy the misses a very small car)
Would be nice to have a sud ti

cheers

Hey Brit.
What's happening with the sud you spent all that time on?
Are you in the U.K for good now?

Hi Brit,
aren't you tempted about put a boxer in your new Skoda
to get a familiar sound? Very Happy

sold the old 33 for 8500 USD!

Hopefully here for good. Just got to get my wife's status sorted out! Apparently she needs to leave by December or faces a 10 year ban.
My son starts primary school in a month!

Anyway my next project is to put a 1.7 fuel injected boxer into my Octavia!
