ive done another parts clear out & acquired a shed load of the above, also a few 75 & 155 bumpers in there too. If anyone needs these items they are available very VERY cheap as I need the space. Also got a few bonnets & tailgates too. _________________ 155 sportpack

Hi Joel, just stripped and disposed of a perfect passenger side front one! though series 2. I have a driver's side front and passenger side rear one left if Alex can't help and can meet at NAD?
See what Alex comes up with. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Hi Joel, I have something like 10 doors at the back of a garage, I'll have a look tomorrow after work at which ones are red & get back to you. (I assume you no longer have the white mean machine then?)
Catch up soon, thanks. _________________ 155 sportpack

nice one chaps..
Still got the white beasty Alex, the doors are for my S1 that's being slowly restored (curently about 3 years in i think). Floor and sills all done - rock solid - but the bottoms of all doors are like tea bags haha.
my pal, who's doing the bodywork, thinks solid replacement doors may be less work than repairing the originals, or could be cut up to make repair sections. apparently they have lots of rot behind the door cards too. Only worry is that s1 doors are in some way different to S2?
on that note, are S2 boot lids any different from S1? Might be in the market for one of those too! |

I've got 3 red doors, (both rears & NSF). The rear doors have the window dividing bars missing but I may have some I can fit. Otherwise the doors are complete. I only have 1 spare tailgate at the mo & that's a grey series 3 one. Let me know if you're keen on any of these Joel, I really need the space as have too many cars! _________________ 155 sportpack

definitely interested, but the logistics of collecting them may prove to be a pain.. The car that needs panels is in Lincolnshire too!
Might you be able to ship em on a pallet or something? |

It's red, but Alex has said that he doubts he will make it to NAD. I also have one rear door too. £30 each.
You could even climb up a mountain with Bobber and me the day before to make a weekend of it, but you'd still be needing two other doors. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

yeah right.. i'm working the saturday, so not sure how realistic a day trip to Cheshire is myself.
Can i have first refusal on the two red doors you have, assuming they are both solid of course? |

Yes they are solid. o/s front (driver's) and n/s rear.
but, I would only take the door/s if you were definitely picking them up. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

i guess the important question is are S2 doors the same as S1? |

Howdy chaps,
Peter from alfasud parts has got me 4 solid doors, but it now transpires i'm gonna need a solid boot lid too.
Colour not an issue, as it will be getting painted off the car with the doors and bonnet.
THE issue is getting it to my painter in East Kirkby..
any suitable bits out there? |
