Hi people,

i've just taken the chip out of my 16v ECU,and was wondering if it was a standard chip or not,as i havent achieved maxium worp yet with the new one:lol: the code on the top of the chip which i've taken out is 1 267 356 512. can anyone help?

Hi John, from the code you have given this is a standard chip.

If new one is upated you should feel difference from 3-3.5k if stg 1 or around 4k if stg 2. Should feel much more torquey and rev harder and car should feel much faster. Check what rpm car cuts out.

Don't know about other chips but from from experience:

Brodie Britain Racing chip 'aka' Weber starchip - 6.9k cut out- loads of torque
Autodelta stg 2 - 7.4k -cut out - less torque but faster

P.s: r u still interested in the Koni's as another guy is interested but I told him that I would speak to you first after a get a quote from the post office. I would rather you drive down as it would be less hassle and probably cheaper than posting. Also I can see your conversion and talk.

i still want the the koni's.it would be good to come up and see you,but i'm waiting on some tire's,as one is cracking on the side wall's and i don't want to risk driving on a motor way,if i get them before the weekend,then i'll drive up,if they are as good as you say they are,i dont mine paying more for the postage,as i really need them.let me know what you want to do. Cool

Hi John,

It's up to u, I can post them or wait till you get your tyres. I will go up to the post office on Sat and see what they quote. I have good set of 5 16V wheels and tyres off a 36k car if you are interested? I will need yours wheels in exchange though as I need to keep the car mobile. Or make me an offer on the whole car & koni's. Car approx 140k runs drives/perfect and interior 36k and mint. Can't sell the car to you as of yet, due to private plate transfer, hence awaiting return of log book. Should come back within next 2 weeks.

get a quote and were take it from there,but i do want them ok.thank's for the offer for the wheel's ,but mine are'nt standard,i've only seen a set on a 33 on the net.i need to take some better photo's of it, now it's lower Cool
