morning all,

lots of snow to play with today in sussex. or there was at about 5am this morning.

took the perm 4 for a rally blast round as many back roads as i could find.
found some nice sweeping corners out near Lewis and got quite good at 4wd drifting the 33.
its not quite got the diff setup of the pulsar but if you use enough weight shift its very fun to drive sideways Very Happy

the only problem i was having was. if you touch the break pedal while you have lost grip at the rear, the 4wd cuts out for a little while. since i fixed the cutting out problem out the other day (thanks paul!) the system works really well. but tends to try and catch you out by being too clever for its own good when your trying to drive sideways or on ice.

hope the rest of you are having fun in the interesting driving conditions.
take care!

L.

What you need to get over that jealousy, Eddie, is a good trip to the beach!

i'd be scared to get my 33 that close to so much salt! Shocked

then again, there is prolly less saly in the sand than there is on the uk roads atm Rolling Eyes

HAHAHA, you are probably correct there. Even worse though, would be if the car conked out on the sand, with no telephone.....just you and the car, in the middle of nowhere with the sea creaping up on you!!

Hahaha.. don't worry - even though there might not have been reception for my cellphone on that beach, I soon had to stop hooning around handbraking because another car turned up. And later that day I took the car to a carwash and hosed down the underside, the wheel arches etc.
Salt can't get me anyway because of my magical rust protection system! Rolling Eyes
