hey all,

is the boot floor structural on the p4? or other 33's for that matter.

just read something that said they are not and was then thinking of doing away with it and replacing with some carbon sheet.

your thoughts people..

Mine is also all filler and there is a definate gap between the spare wheel well and the tail gate, I wouldn't like to put anything too heavy in.
But it got through an MOT alright

hmm
well there is no filler or rust or holes in either of my 2 p4 boots. but there is metal and its heavier than carbon.

i think i'll wait till i gather a bit more info before i do anything i cant reverse.

thanks for the replys guys. if i cut my boot floor out i'll think of you and you could have a real rust free boost again Very Happy

Hi,

Boot floor probably makes up part of the rear crumple zone, so without it a heavy rear shunt could be iffy.
