Hi

Only thing I can say is to try going through the wiring diagram to find out where is not getting power.

Also possible the crankshaft position sensor is not working. However this would also stop the ignition system.

All the best

Keith

thanks Keith.

I did wonder if it was crank sensor, but someone else has told me that would stop spark too, like yourself..so thats out i guess.

O well it will be my new years resoltution to get it running again... Rolling Eyes

Hi

Thought you had changed the relays (one went on my P4, took a while to find).

Probably worth checking the plugs (flooded from being cranked over) and also check you have not swapped the plug leads round by mistake while trying to find the problem.

All the best

hello keith, yes sorry i thought i had changed relays too...

Only thing left i can think of now is just damp weather and old alfa electrics not gettin on too well...cos everything seems to be as it should be.

i once had a sud that did this.

If the pump is now running - check (carefully) for pressure on the fuel rail - and you've got spark, then its down to the ECU or more likely electrical connections in the system.
