Hi Scott,
I visited your site once again, and noticed that Eibach rear spring is higher then original on your 16v in uncommpresed state.
But how much was car rear lower (when eibach commpresed)

Tino,
I was surprised to find out that it made no difference or at most 5mm.
I have written down the heights before and after. I will let you know if you want _________________ Scott Sander

Please do.
Because I'm thinking of buying Eibach springs fory my P4 for a long time, but I didn't want my car any lower then it is right now, because it is perfect height, as it is. Height enough for climbing pavement/sidewalk, low enough to give stability.
I had fitted 185/55 14" tires, which is almost 1cm lower then original, and I was most of the time scraping undercarriage of Alfa

Tino,
I did not find where I had written the before measurements down. So I went and measured the height just then. It was 570mm on the front and 610mm on the rear. These measurements are to the top of the wheel arch. I had hoped the rear may have been a bit lower.
I am running on 195/50/15 tyres.
Hope that helps _________________ Scott Sander

Scott,
since I'm runing also on 195/50/15 (Toyo T1S in my case), it helps a LOT, thank you.
first grade math
(195*0,5*2/25,4)+15"=22,677" =aprox576mm = only tire height without load
Tire is inside wheel arch. (lowrider 33 , only need to shave off door handles )
staticly loaded tire (only god know how much/inflated/deflated?) (http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_specsheet.cfm?id=2) =10,5*2= 21" =aprox. 533,4mm
There is still some space up to arch.
I'll write my current distances in the tomorrow, front maybe same as yours, but rear should be at least 50mm higher since it's P4.

At the moment on my LHD P4with original almost 200k km springs (left drivers side is naturaly lower).
Front Left 565mm
Front Right 585mm
Rear Left 623mm
Rear Right 630mm
I suppose that yours (right) drivers side was also lower with original springs, and that after mounting eibach springs left now equals right side?

Tino,
Yeah from memory they did differ slightly from side to side. I'm fairly happy with the curent setup. Under braking I wish I had stiffer front springs. _________________ Scott Sander
