i have a now surplus 33 16v sportwagen in red with black cloth. body is very tidy for age, clean alloys, perfect interior. all electrics work. is mot'd until sept. has air con but needs a recharge. engine, box and running gear all fine. lots of history and some spares. now the snag, the clutch has gone. i now have M.E. and havent got the strength to repair it and as a ex mechanic i'm too angry/stubborn/proud to pay a garage to do it. i wish it to go to a fellow enthusiast who will love it and hug it. open to offers please. 07716 343728 |

Kyle,
I know what you mean about being too proud to pay a garage - as it can often be expensive for what you end up getting!
Where abouts do you live as I may well be interested?
Regards,
Edward. _________________ The faster the better. |

Sorry, not an offer. Just a note of support to say that I had ME for six years and know what a bugger it is. Also I don't think Ed's other half will let him have another Alfa _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Hi...
Hey, if you were here (Portugal), i wouldnt buy your Sportwagon...
I would go meet you and help to change the clutch...
And i wouldnt charge anything (except a beer or two), i would do it for fun...
Surelly, theres someone that can lend and hand...
All the best

Kyle,
Sorry for being slow in getting back - am interested - just been busy - you know how it is.
I did try and call you earlier but it just rang........
Paul is right about the number of Alfa's.....well sort of. It's just more difficult to sneak them home now that we have moved house. We used to have a big garden and drive before. Its was easier before to say 'what alfa .........???? when a new one turned up.
I will try and call again later and come over and have a look.

Bob,
Well about 5 at the moment - although I have to hide the log books around the house.
One track car - on the road.
One track car - being built.
I did buy the sportwagen off Kyle - just got to collect it shortly
...and going to collect the P4 this weekend.
So that's 4 - not five !!!
Paul - don't tell Emma - although I have spent most of this week fixing her car - so a few brownie points there!! _________________ The faster the better. |

Well I'm up to two 1.5s, two 1.7s and two P4s (and one 1.7 for the scrapper), but you can tell Sue all you like as one of them is hers. Will you and Emma be coming to Spring Alfa Day? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Is it possible to fit the air con onto a different car? I always fancied air con on mine, I might use my car more often then as it gets bloody hot in the summer |

Many thanks to Ed for not only giving the 33 a decent home but for also nicking my pen when he wrote the cheque! May they both give you hours of pleasure.... |
