Can anyone suggest why i can feel the engine thro the brake pedal when i press it? its especially obvious on tickover...
could it be a worn engine mount??

Outside chance of it being worn engine mount. But possibly more likely to be something else touching/leaning against the brake mechanism under the bonnet somewhere. U may need to get right in there and identify what and where though. DO NOT IGNORE THIS PROBLEM! IT COULD BE DANGEROUS!
It could be a brake line chafing, for example, and lead to brake failure. It could be speedo cable or something similar incorrectly routed and be harmless. But then again..... Hope u find it. |

thanks for reply buddy,
the car is in peices at moment

and it does need new brake pipes right thro front and back due to corrosion but i will take care when i put it all back together...
