Hi,

I have a pair of new front wings coming in the post (£40 each.... that's a DEAL!). I intend to spray them up and fit them onto my 33.

In the manual it shows two lines of 'sealant' per wing which "MUST BE REPLACED" when putting the new wings on.

Does anyone have any idea what this sealant might be???

which manual do you have Bobbber? The CD or the folders? I'll have a look at mine (I have both) and I'm sure the sealant type is listed in the bodywork section - I'll keep you posted

I have the series III CD. Perhaps it's in that 'specifications' section at the end of the chapter.... didn't think to look in there!!!!!!

Bobbber, I've had a look in my dealer manuals which mostly concentrate on series 2 cars but I think that basically the make up of the body is the same. In the bodywork repair section, the manual mentions the following:

"Sealant for joints between panels assembled by bolting:
3M-Autosealer 8573E part no: 3522-00045" (not sure if thats a 3M part number or an Alfa Romeo one).
