Hi,
Take off the resovoir cap, put on a bit of clingfilm, and put back the cap back on. This should stop fluid dripping out when you disconnethe hose, and too much air getting in.
I'd still bleed the brakes, but you shouldn't have to do the clutch -it's a bit of a fiddle. If the clutch did feel impaired , then do it.
When done, take out the clingfilm, taking care of the paintwork.

its good to change all the fluid anyway, alot of places advise doing it every 2 years because the fluid reacts with the metal in the pipes _________________ brum brum |

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, ie absorbs water.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hygroscopic
The water reduces the efficiency of the brake fluid. Also heard it can cause the metal line to rust from the inside. _________________ Scott Sander
