Anyone tell me what i'm missing here? Have removed the four bolts in the boot floor holding the rear of the bumper, and the two screws in front lower corners holding bumper to base of arch inserts. There seems to be something holding the sides in place at the front but cant find it, do the arch inserts have to be removed? All i want to do is fit a towbar....

Looks like you might be missing the last bit (which looks like next to one of the tie bars) :

Hope that helps!

Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

that last bolt on the bumper? what an absolute dogc**k of a job, seeing as how its at the bottom of the wheelarch with its own small crevice to rest in, embedded in crap. The bumper has a square nut enclosed in a plastic casing, as is usual on this type of fitting you strain and strain to get the bolt out, when you get near to the end all the rust on the bolt blinds the nut which then twists in it's casing, requiring you to knock it apart with a chisel. thats the first one out, now for the second.....

Oh and the crevice is that enclosed that only one tool will get it off, a swan neck type spanner, or one of those socket/spanner combinations (socket type thing pinned onto spanner handle)

Having tried to get those bolts out in the past I thought you were being remarkably restrained.

All the best
