Hi,

I have seen some pics of 33/Suds with some sort of strengthing bar between the bulkhead and the chassis legs, where are these from??

Are they standard on 33 16v's??

They are standard on all 33 series 3. Even the 1.3 have the strengthing bars, connecting the bulkhead and the chassis rail...
They were one of the "evolutions" of the 3rd series.

And they are a must have. After changing the plugs on my 16v, i "forgot" to reinstall them.

The chassis flex, was incredible... Shocked

Camilo,

Thanks for that, I have dropped a 16v lump in my Sud and was unaware these bars existed. Will need to find some now and make them fit I guess!!

Just make sure, you install them without welding them in place... They must remain removable, or else, you will not be able to change the plugs on the 16v engine...

I can change my plugs with the bars still in place. Although I made sure I fitted platinum plugs.
