At my flat, my 33 parks facing on a slight downhill, with the front right wheel as the lowest point.
Twice I've got in after decent rain to find the drivers footwell carpet soaked with water from underneath.
Today I pulled the seat out, carpet up, sodden sound deadening out, and traced the leak.
Turns out the sill / chassis rail fills up with water (lots, actually..), which slowly seeps into the footwell around a clip holding the wiring loom in place under the carpet.

I found what looked like two drain holes in the middle of the sill among the clips holding the side skirt on, and when I'd head off up the driveway in the morning, water used to pour out these.
But Alfa obviously put drain holes at the ENDS of the rails, right, to prevent water collecting there if your car is parked on a slope?
Where are these holes?

Well I drilled another drain hole anyway, and in recent prolonged rain no water got inside. The hole it used to enter through is now plugged with duct tape and Blu Tack. Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately the car smells of mould and I seem to have upset the alarm (I found its earth under the carpet and gave it a clean). Alarm now talks to itself if it is left armed. Fun and games. Evil or Very Mad
