First one is for PAS, second without, applies to all models I think.
Prices are per pair. Supplier I found in France asking £30 per pair for the PAS gaiters, £40 per pair for the other ones.
There are gaiters advertised for Alfa 33 on eBay, but they are "adaptable" - you trim the ends to the required i/d's. I have ordered a set to check them out. _________________ Dick Flower, Nr. There is a knackered steering rack with perfect gaiters on it in a place in Buxted if you want to drive there quick, if it's still there. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

I just called mangoletsi and they said last one they sold was last year to a Mrs Harvey in 19 aug 2008 with part number of 9943449. They are now no longer available. |
That'll be me then! (well, my mother to be exact, as the last time I checked I was pretty sure I was a Mr!)
I don't have the old boot anymore Al so sorry I can't supply you with a 'strip' |

Really cunning
ps: very interested in knowing
if you used common superglue, the rigid one type
(probably more strong but in principle not good
with rubber that have to move and fold)
or a type of superglue with 'elastic' addictives,
I don't know if it was already on market 3 years ago,
(in principle better one for this job but may be not?),
As your post shows the type you used worked well! _________________ Alfa 33 |

Trying to remember (I struggle to remember what I did yesterday) but believe it was Loctite glue....the liquid rather than gel type. As to the elasticity....pretty sure it was normal superglue. I think the key to doing this successfully is making sure all the surfaces are really clean before glueing. |

That's ok Jeremy. It might spur someone on to giving it a go knowing it will last a reasonable amount of time. |
