I gave the car a thorugh wash today and spotted a little fingernail scab of rust on the door under the mirror. Whipped the mirror off to atttend to it and yikes:
Caught just in time I think, the area to the left of the small hole is a bit weakened but the big hole is what really takes the load so I've treated it and it will get some paint later in the week. Much longer and some welding would have been needed. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

That's what's good about hand washing a car....you notice things like that.
Good job it will soon be remedied. You never know when the worm will catch you  |
