|
|
For sale - my much loved and cared for 1990 Alfa Romeo P4 1.7 16v.
Sadly for sale as I simply cannot spend the time it requires to keep it in good form. A bit of work would get this going again and it's well on it's way already.
Good bits :
Gearbox is the best I've ever used on a 33 (and I've used a few!)
The engine bay is half restored.
It went on a roundtrip to Belgium 18 months ago (shows it's recently ran and for a long distance!)
I have LOADS of parts - when you buy the car you can have whatever you want (even all of them).
The engine looks excellent
The interior is generally in good condition.
A great project where a bit of work would reep good dividends.
Not so good :
Doesn't have an MOT or TAX.
You will need to tow it away.
Needs a small bit of welding on the offside front jacking point (very common - I've had a quote of £80 to rectify this)
The 4 wheel drive system is not working. At the moment it works fine as a 2 wheel drive version - I have the bits to get it going though.
Now - any questions, please ask me. I can't cover *everything* here and if you want to come and see the car, please pm me ASAP. I'm taking offers, it's sold as seen, and I want cash on collection. Now don't go offering £50 as this car is a few weeks of work away from getting another MOT and zooming off down the road.
These are VERY rare now and this is a great opportunity.
Photos to follow.

Glad to see you've put the car here before ebay!!- he he he
Real shame, sorry I never got to see the beast in the flesh.
Feel free to put the p4 on www.alfisti.co.uk/cars - free inc 10 pics.
Hope you'll still come to the shows this year? Getting a less time consuming alfa perhaps??
Cheers,

Thanks for the Alfisti offer... I have no photos at the moment, but when I do I'll take advantage of that.
Unfortunately, it will be going on eBay shortly if I don't get a decent offer here... thus proving what I said before ha ha |

Is this the end to 33 ownership then Bob?
Will have to arrange a get together spring/summertime.
Hope you get what she's worth....to me it seemed all round a good motor. |

Yes, this *is* the end I'm afraid. Hopefully not the end of "us" though (wow, that sounds gay... not meant to be )
Defo for meeting up in the brighter months, and yes it is a shame about the 33. Really deserves to make a few quid I think.
All the best...

Hi Ian,
Yes, I think so. Guy who bought it said "it'll be back on the road in a month"
