Does anyone have any info on the rear disc brake caliper fitted to the P4? Particularly the hand brake adjustment when changing pads. My left rear caliper is not responding to the hand brake, and I haven't been able to push the piston back into the housing to free the (worn) disc. It took long enough to get the caliper off after some mongrel used the wrong grade of locktite to glue the bolts in.......
Also, any clues for the supplier of rear discs?
Cheers,

Hi
The piston needs to be rotated and pushed in to get it to retract. It might be easiest to undo the bleed screw a tad while you do this.
All the best

I doubt you will be able to retract the piston if the disc is still stuck.
(I think I read that right!)
If that's the case I don't think you have much option other than brute force and ingnorance.

Thanks, I had hoped for an external adjustment like the 'Sud front brake calipers. I might have to go the ignorance route (after trying cracking the bleed nipple)! The real problem is the disc is worn and the pads fit nicely into the groove - I need to push back the piston 5mm or so or grind off the edge of the disc after finding replacements.
Cheers,
James
