Hi Everyone

sinca my freind's 1988 alfa sprint isn't standart i he doesn't know what tire pressure to set!
this sprint is from 1988 model and was 1.5 originaly but now has an 1700 16V engine, lower suspension, zender bodykit and 195/50/15 tires wich are bigger rims and tires then original so the question is how can i know the right tire pressure for this car ? is there anyone here maybe with same car with same specification's who can help ?

2.3 bar to begin with. All tires in 195/50R15 I know are inflated that much in any tire-shop I know. varying it from 2.0 to 2.5 bar can help him to get to the feeling he likes the most. That pressure isn't dependant on the engine's power. Only when heavily loaded i'd put in slightly more.

Regards!

It is important to keep the 2-4 PSI difference front to rear, the front being higher psi.

The book says Front 26PSI, rear 23PSI.

I ran 195/45 R15 on my 1.7'Ti' and found 28-30 PSi Front and 26-27PSI Rear worked nicely for me. Normally I had 30F 26R, which I found to be optimal for me on my own, with no load, but varied it depending on mood to make roundabouts more or less entertaining.

It is impressive how a little adjustment in tyre pressure can have noticeable results. Nice cheap modification to make your handling how you like it!!
