Hi all, it's been ages since I've posted anything here.

My converted 16V has been standing unused since March due to a damaged brake hose that I hadn't got time to fix. Now I've finally got it going again (although the steering seems to be 10 times heavier than before).

At the moment, I'm trying to fit the gorgeous recaro seats that I got from a stolen+recovered P4. Due to the car thieves having slashed the seats with a stanley knife (out of spite), I've bought some red+black sports seat covers from Halfords to put over them until I can have them re-upholstered.

The problem is - I need to get the headrests off them to fit the covers, and they won't come out! There MUST be a way to get these things out, surely. Does anyone know how to do it?

Sorted now, got them off. Had to pull them really hard and really fast and they slid past the catches that were holding them in (they're spring loaded so the faster you pull the less time they have to engage with the notches on the headrest stems).

I'm only posting this in case anybody else in future has this same problem.
