Paul,

There was someone else on the forum that lodged a picture of where the relay was on the P4. From rough memory it was on the LHS as you look at the car from the front - near the heater - but that could be a bit of a bad guess. Have you looked in the search function. It was a page from a P4 specific suppliment manual.

I may see if I can find it in all my paperwork - alternatively I could just pull out all the relays in sequence until it stopped working on my one - perhaps not. I will see if I can find it in all my documents.

Edward.

I pulled out all the relays and they just kept on going! I don't have any relays on the left hand side. Maybe that's the problem Exclamation Exclamation Question

Hi Paul,
it is not relay at least not usual one. It should be in plastic housing, but higher and with step near its base. TVR/12 or something like it is writen on it.
When you look at fuse box, on sides there are 2 columns of relays, in between there are few columns of fuses. At end of mid fuse columns there are 2 solenoids first is for wipers, second is for side lights.
On my P4 it is black, it is only one in second "relay" column, from left.

Hope it helps, cheers

Absolutely, that's the plan. Not sure whether to bring P4 or white series 2.

Check out Bobbber's Spring Alfa Day website Ed - http://www.alfa-restoration.co.uk/sad2006/index.html to see a list of the usual suspects.
Very Happy
